May 22, 2025 – Georgetown, Guyana
The Caribbean Football Union (CFU) has announced the grouping and format for the 2025 edition of the Girls’ Under-14 Challenge Series, which will be hosted in Trinidad and Tobago from 15–24 August.
This year’s competition will see participation from 23 member associations, with teams placed in two tiers. Eight teams will compete in Tier I, while the remaining 15 will compete in Tier II.
Tier I will consist of two groups of four:
Group A includes Puerto Rico, the Dominican Republic, Bermuda, and Martinique.
Group B comprises Aruba, Haiti, Jamaica, and hosts Trinidad and Tobago.
Teams in Tier I will compete in a round-robin format during the group stage. The top two teams from each group will advance to the semi-finals, with the winners meeting in the final scheduled for 24 August. The third-placed teams will play a single match to determine 5th and 6th place, while the fourth-placed teams will compete for 7th and 8th place.
Tier II will feature three groups of five.
Group A includes St. Kitts & Nevis, Dominica, Bonaire, US Virgin Islands, and Saint Lucia.
Group B will see Grenada, Barbados, British Virgin Islands, French Guiana, and Suriname in contention.
Group C features the Cayman Islands, Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Turks & Caicos Islands, and Guyana.
Each team will play their group opponents once in a round-robin format. The winners of the three groups will advance to the semi-finals alongside the second-placed team with the highest number of points across all groups.
The group winner with the highest point total will play the best second-placed team in the first semi-final, while the other two group winners will face off in the second semi-final.
Tier II action kicks off on 15 August, followed by the start of Tier I on 16 August. The CFU will confirm the full match schedule at a later date.
