The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) proudly celebrates Guyana’s historic third-place finish on August 28, 2026, at the inaugural FIFAe Continental Championship North, Central America, and Caribbean by Concacaf in Mexico City, Mexico.
Guyana’s historic campaign concluded following two intense semifinal matches against Costa Rica:
Match 1: Guyana 1-1 Costa Rica Match 2: Guyana 0-1 Costa RicaGuyana officially secured 3rd place in its debut appearance at the Continental Championship, marking a major milestone for the nation and the continued development of football esports in Guyana.
Significantly, Guyana was the only English-speaking country to finish in the Top 3, further underlining the magnitude of the achievement on the regional stage.
