July 28, 2026, Georgetown – Paradise FC capped off a remarkable campaign by capturing both the Under-13 and Under-15 titles in the Berbice Football Association leg of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Youth Ensemble Programme, securing qualification for the National Championship in both divisions.
Playing at the Paradise Ground on Sunday, Paradise FC defeated Cougars FC 2-0 in the Under-15 final to complete an impressive tournament run. The victory came after the club had already claimed the Under-13 crown with a convincing 3-1 win over Cougars FC, underlining the strength of its youth development programme.
The Berbice competition featured three matches in the Under-13 division and 10 matches in the Under-15 division. Across both competitions, players produced exciting attacking football, with 13 goals scored in the Under-13 category and an impressive 73 goals netted in the Under-15 tournament.
Paradise FC finished atop the Under-13 standings ahead of Monedderlust FC before sealing the championship with their victory over Cougars FC. Their success in both age groups now earns the club the opportunity to compete against the country's top youth teams at the upcoming GFF National Championship.
