The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) is overlooked by a Council. The Council is responsible for all major decision-making and is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Federation.

Wayne Forde – President
President Wayne Shawn Forde is a 45-year old Businessman who was born in the mining town of Bartica, Essequibo river. He was raised by his loving grandmother and spent the formative years of his life like most Barticians, swimming extensively and playing on the beaches. He is the owner and Managing Director of Oasis Water and Prudential Industrial Technology. He is also a Co-Founder of MAKEYOURDEAL.COM, a rapidly growing international online home decor shopping site.
He is a Maintenance Engineer by profession with more than twenty-five years of National and International experience in the fields of Power Generation, Heavy Industrial Mining and Paper Recycling. Over the course of his professional career he served in the capacity of Maintenance Technician, Maintenance Foreman, Maintenance Engineer, Project Manager and Operations Manager.
His love for Football began on the Streets of last entrance North Ruimveldt, Norton Street Wortmanville and later with the Santos Football Club for a brief period in the late eighties. In 2002 he began his relationship with Fruta Conquerors Football Club as a sponsor and one year later became the first Vice President before becoming the President soon after. He went on to steer the Club to its second K&S Championship in 2005. He later served as the first Vice President of the Georgetown Football Association (GFA) before returning to serve as President of Fruta Conquerors Football Club. He considers the Fruta Conquerors Annual Summer programme as his greatest achievement in football to date. In 2004 he provided exclusive sponsorship under the OASIS WATER brand to launch this programme with special emphasis on remedial math, reading and hand writing. The programme’s first facilitator was Coach Sampson Gilbert. To date, scores of young boys and girls from the Tucville Community have benefited enormously from this programme.
His other sporting passions, or as he would describe it, “obsession,” are the board games Draught and Chess. His favourite quote is; “it’s never too late to do what’s right.”
Brigadier General (Ret) Jullian (Bruce) Lovell – First Vice President
Brigadier General (Ret) Jullian (Bruce) Lovell retired from the Guyana Defence Force (GDF) in May 2015 after a career spanning some 36 plus years of service to Guyana.
During his tenure he held several appointments at the direct, organizational and strategic levels of the Force, which allowed him to acquire skills and expertise in diverse areas such as strategic leadership, strategic planning, organizational development, operations management, and defence and public security policy making.
As the Second-in-Command of the GDF, he superintended the Force’s operations and training; and one of his many tasks was policy making, development, and management for all sports in the Force at the strategic level.
Brigadier Lovell is the holder of an MSc in National Resource Strategy from the Industrial College of the Armed Forces of the National Defence University, USA; a MA in Human Resource Development from Webster University, USA; and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Communication from the University of Guyana.
Mr. Rawlston Adams – Second Vice President
Mr. Rawlston Adams holds a Diploma in Technology (Civil) from University of Guyana and Graduate Diploma in Business Administration from the Australian Institute of Business.
Mr. Adams was employed at the then Guyana Water Authority and SRKN’gineering Consultants (Guyana) before being employed at the Ministry of Public Works and Communications, Works Services Group (Guyana) as the Project Engineer/Sr. Project Engineer for 10 years. Among the key projects he contributed to are: the Bridges Rehabilitation Project, Mahaica- Rosignol Road Rehabilitation Project, Timheri Airport Runway Overlay and Lighting, New Amsterdam – Moleson Creek Road and construction of the Berbice River Bridge Project Steel Floating Bridge. Mr. Adams has been spearheading the management team of the Demerara Harbour Bridge from 2008 to present as the General Manager.
He is also a member of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ms. Thandi Mc Allister- Third Vice-President
Thandi McAllister is an attorney-at-law and the Third Vice-President of the Guyana Football Federation. Additionally, she is the Assistant Secretary/Treasurer of the Uitvlugt Warriors Football Club.
Thandi Mc Allister was born on the 18th day of January, 1982 to parents Irville McAllister (deceased) and Andrea McLennan. Both of her parents were Soldiers who served in the Guyana Defence Force. Her deceased father was a training officer with the rank of Warrant Officer II and her mother, a retired sergeant in the Women’s Army Corp of the Guyana Defence Force.
She had her early education at the Stewartville Primary School and secondary education at Central High School and the Bishops’ High School.
Ms. Mc Allister is a strong advocate for community development with the emphasis on youth and women and to this end, she has worked tirelessly as a Councillor on the Regional Democratic Council, Region No.3. She has also given service to the Women and Gender Committee and the Youth and Sports Committee of her region. She served as Vice Chairman of the Uitvlugt Community Development Committee and as a volunteer teacher at Kumu Primary School in Region No.9.
Hers has been a life, thus far, predicated on service, a quality no doubt inherited from the example of her parents.
Mr. Dion Innis – Council Member
Mr. Inniss has a long football background. He is former captain and Goalkeeper of the President’s College football team and was awarded the best goalkeeper at the inaugural Coca Cola Inter -Secondary School Tournament. He was a member of the winning Inter-Guiana Games football team that defeated Suriname in Paramaribo at the resuscitated Games in 1993 for the first time at any level since 1976.
He also represented Thomas United at the First Division level and also served as its Club Secretary.
Inniss’ refereeing career commenced in 2000, officiating in all the major local tournaments. In 2004, he became a FIFA Assistant Referee until his retirement in December 2014.
He is a founding member of the Guyana Football Referees Council (GFRC) and has served the organization at various times as a Committee Member, Secretary, Vice President and currently President.
“I was appointed as a Member of the GFF Referees Committee in February 2015. I am a member of the Match Commissioner panel.”
Mr. Inniss is currently employed at Caribbean Airlines Ltd. in Georgetown as the Sales Executive for Guyana and Suriname.
Ms. Magzene Stewart – Council Member
Ms. Stewart resides in Anna Regina, Essequibo Coast and is currently employed at the Guyana Power & Light Inc. She has been with the company for the past thirty-two years in the capacity of Supervisor at the Anna Regina Commercial Office in their Finance Department. Ms. Stewart is also a Committee Member on the Social Activities Committee of the Guyana Power & Light Inc.
Ms. Stewart’s history in football details her serving in the capacity of President of the Henrietta Football Club for over seven years.
Presently, Ms. Stewart is the Vice President of the Essequibo Coast/Pomeroon Football Association.
Ms. Stewart is a mother to two children, and has been married for ten years. She plays a very active role within her religious community and also spends her time as a volunteer assisting the Regional Executive Officer.
Mr. Rayan Farias – Council Member
Mr. Farias was born in the area of Central Rupununi, Lethem. He graduated from the St. Ignatius Secondary School in 1996 and thereafter from the Cyril Potter College of Education with a Trained Teacher’s Certificate in 2007. Mr. Farias then pursued his academic studies at the University of Guyana, graduating with an Associate’s Degree in Fine Arts in 2013.
Mr. Farias has been a coach for both the male and female senior football teams from Region 9 participating in National Tournaments. He has participated in a number of FIFA-organized Coaching Sessions such as the Female Coaching Course in 2009 and 2010 and the Elite Coaching Course in 2011.
Mr. Farias currently serves on the Council of the Guyana Football Federation since being elected in November, 2014.
Ms. Carmel Williams – Council Member
Ms. Williams is a Bartician. She is a mother and teacher, an experienced sports leader in excess of thirty-three years; a leader with over twenty-five solid years of management experience in the field of education and community involvement. Ms. Williams in her formal education received schooling at the St. John the Baptist’s Primary School; Carnegie School of Home Economics where she later obtained a certificate in House Management and Catering; the Cyril Potter College of Education majoring in Home Economics and minoring in Music and finally the University of Guyana where she pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Education Administration.
After school, Carmel played and represented Bartica several times at cricket, football and other sports disciplines both in Bartica and nationally. In 2004, she represented Essequibo Cricket Board captaining the Female Hardball cricket team in several tournaments. In 2005, she also played with Striking Dolls female football club as captain of the team.
In 2002, she was elected as the representative of the Guyana Teachers Union, Bartica branch, for four years and from 2008 to present respectively.
Ms. Williams is an avid volunteer. She is involved in combating HIV/AIDS as an educator and counselor started in 2001 during the International Year of the Volunteers.
In 2015, she was elected to the Bartica Football Association (BFA) as the Third Vice President and to the Guyana Football Federation as an executive member.
Ms. Williams was also a constable with the Guyana Police Force and an auxiliary staff for the Guyana Fire Service. She has also served as a member of the Bartica Steel Pan band.
She is currently serving as a Councillor representing Constituency #6 of the Municipality of Bartica.
