August 12, 2026, Georgetown– The Essequibo Pomeroon Football Association (EPFA) successfully concluded its Boys U13 and U15 Regional Championships under the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Youth Ensemble Programme, with Dartmouth Dominators FC emerging as champions in both age categories.
The conclusion of the competition was marked by smiles, excitement and a strong sense of achievement on Sunday, August 9, as the EPFA Executive Committee hosted a presentation ceremony attended by young players, clubs, parents, officials and other football stakeholders.
GFF President Wayne Forde travelled from Georgetown to join the EPFA football community in celebrating the achievements of the young players and the successful completion of the regional championship.
In the Boys U13 competition, Dartmouth Dominators FC were crowned champions, with Vertex Vipers FC finishing as runners-up.
In the Boys U15 competition, Dartmouth Dominators FC also secured the championship title, while Charity Extreme FC finished in second place.
Individual awards were also presented to outstanding performers

- Best Goalkeeper: Jamian Jones – Vertex Vipers FC
- Highest Goal Scorer: Selvin Williams – Good Hope FC
U15 Awards
- Best Goalkeeper: Antwone Singh – Dartmouth Dominators FC
- Highest Goal Scorer: Yohan Anthonio – Good Hope FC
President Forde commended the EPFA Executive Committee for its dedication and commitment to successfully delivering the competition, while also recognizing the contribution of the participating clubs, referees, parents and wider stakeholders.

Most importantly, I congratulate all of the young players and commend them for the discipline and commitment they have demonstrated throughout the competition.
The GFF Youth Ensemble Programme is not just historic; it is also ambitious. To coordinate a national youth competition involving more than 100 clubs across all nine Regional Associations is a gigantic task, and I must commend our Technical and Competitions Departments for pulling this off thus far.
But none of this would be possible without the leadership and commitment of the Regional Associations’ Executives. I am proud of each of you, and I feel honoured to serve Guyana’s football alongside each of you. Your commitment to developing the next generation of footballers is helping to build a stronger foundation for the future of our game.”
The successful conclusion of the EPFA regional championship means that the four teams, Dartmouth Dominators FC and Vertex Vipers FC in the U13 category, and Dartmouth Dominators FC and Charity Extreme FC in the U15 category, will now advance to the GFF Youth Ensemble National Championship.
They will compete against the respective champions and runners-up from the other eight Regional Associations, bringing together the leading youth teams from across Guyana.
The GFF Youth Ensemble National Championship is scheduled to kick off in the coming days, with matches taking place across all nine Regional Associations as Guyana’s national youth football programme moves into its next phase.
