August 15, 2025 - Georgetown, Guyana
The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) is pleased to officially name the 20-player Junior Lady Jaguars squad for the 2025 Caribbean Football Union (CFU) U14 Girls Challenge Series, set to run from August 15–24 in Trinidad and Tobago.
The squad, which blends talent from across Guyana/the diaspora and features a significant number of indigenous players, arrived in Trinidad yesterday in high spirits, ready to represent Guyana on the international stage.
Addressing his hopes for the tournament, Technical Director, Bryan Joseph noted: “The girls have arrived here in Trinidad in good spirits. They have worked hard to get themselves ready to have their first experience in international football. They’re excited, the staff is excited, and we just want to see the girls go out there and represent well.”
He added, “This is a development competition and we want to ensure that we manage the expectations we place on the girls as well as the staff. They’re all on a pathway of development. They must have fun and enjoy this moment and, in doing so, develop a thirst for competing at this level and hopefully transition to become elite players over the coming years.”
