The Security Guard will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all Guyana Football Federation facilities, employees, and visitors. This role requires vigilance, professionalism, and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment. The successful candidate will play a key role in protecting GFF property and assets while upholding the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to safeguard premises and assets.
- Control access to the premises by verifying the identities of visitors and personnel.
- Respond to alarms and other security incidents.
- Respond to emergencies by contacting appropriate authorities, such as police or fire services.
- Document daily activities, security incidents, and any irregularities, submitting comprehensive reports.
- Maintain order and ensure property protection by interacting professionally with employees and visitors.
- Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the overall safety and security of all Federation facilities.
Minimal Qualification & Experience
- Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or a related field is a plus.
- Possess strong observational, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in stressful or emergency situations.
- Must be punctual.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various weather conditions.
- Strong ethical standards.
- Sound primary education.
