The Guyana Football Federation extends its sincere congratulations to our players and technical staff on their strong performances in the inaugural Concacaf Series, securing well- deserved victories against Bonaire (2 - 1) and Antigua and Barbuda (4 - 1). The team has represented Guyana with commendable pride, discipline, and determination, and we applaud their continued commitment to national duty.
The Federation has been informed by the team management of allegations that domestic players were subjected to harsh criticism by the Head Coach during a team meeting. The GFF takes such matters seriously and demands the highest professional standards throughout the national team programme. Upon the team’s return to Guyana, the Federation will commence a formal investigation to establish the facts. All parties will be afforded a fair and equal opportunity to be heard.
