FIFA FUTSAL INSTRUCTOR SHANE BUTLER DURING A CLASSROOM SESSION
The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) is hosting a five-day futsal referees’ workshop at the National Resource Centre (Racquet Centre) from today, December 5.
The workshop is being conducted by FIFA Instructor Shane Butler and will cater for a total of 17 match officials from Berbice, Linden, Georgetown, West Demerara and Essequibo.
Among the areas to be covered in the workshop are futsal Laws Of The Game, video clips presentation review, technical drills on referees’ positioning and movements, team work, managing the technical areas and general mechanics and techniques.
The programme is being held daily from 10:00hrs – 17:00hrs with the practical sessions scheduled for 15:00hrs – 16:30hrs on Friday and Saturday at the National Gymnasium.
