GFF PARTICIPATES IN CONCACAF PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOP

30th October, Georgetown: The Guyana Football Federation (GFF) Competitions Director, Ian Alves, is participating in the Concacaf Professional Football Development Workshop that is being held in Tegucigalpa, Honduras from October 31 – November 1, 2018.

The workshop, to be attended by Club Licensing Managers from Concacaf Member Associations, will cover a variety of topics relative to professional football matters.

According to Concacaf, among the key areas to be addressed are: “best practices on Club Licensing, proper execution of the roles and responsibilities of those overseeing Club Licensing, sessions on minimum contract requirements, training compensation and solidarity payments, and an overview of the COMET Platform and its direct correlation to Club Licensing processes moving forward.”

It is expected that the knowledge acquired will be shared with the clubs upon return to Guyana.
