GFF TO HOST AWARD CEREMONY
–Key Stakeholders To Be Honoured
5th May, 2018, Georgetown: The Wayne Forde-led Council of the Guyana Football Federation (GFF) will host its first Annual Awards Ceremony on May 11 to recognize the contributions of key stakeholders to the development of football in Guyana.
The event, which will be held at the SleepIn International Hotel & Casino, Georgetown, will commence at 20:00hrs and will be preceded by a cocktail hour at 19:00hrs.
According to GFF President, Wayne Forde, the purpose of the awards ceremony is two-fold: “The purpose of the event is to return to the GFF annual calendar of activity, an occasion to honour and recognize the outstanding work and achievement of our members, officials and players and also to recognize other stakeholders including our corporate partners for their contribution.
As part of the ceremony, momentos will be presented in various categories including players, coaches, match officials, clubs and the media. Recognition will also be given to key corporate partners.
